AI Credits
ClusterCode includes AI credits for Nucleus sessions and DevBox agents. You can use the platform allowance or bring your own API keys.
Platform Allowance
Section titled “Platform Allowance”Each plan includes a monthly AI credit allowance:

5× / 20× mark limits where Pro is exactly 5× Starter and Enterprise 20×.
On Enterprise the allowance is per user. Top-ups are available on Pro and Enterprise.
Credits are consumed by:
- Nucleus conversations in the dashboard
- AI agent activity inside DevBoxes (when using platform keys)
Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)
Section titled “Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)”On Pro and Enterprise plans, you can provide your own API keys. This means:
- No platform credit consumption
- Use your own rate limits and pricing
- Full control over provider choice
Configure BYOK credentials in the orchestrator settings. See Environment Variables for the specific keys.
Budget Management
Section titled “Budget Management”The orchestrator dashboard shows:
- Current session budget usage (percentage)
- Monthly allowance remaining
- Per-session cost breakdown
When approaching your budget limit, Nucleus displays a warning banner suggesting you add your own API key or upgrade your plan.
Live Sessions
Section titled “Live Sessions”Live sessions are interactive Nucleus conversations:

The cap is the total across all your DevBoxes (terminal + display combined), not a per-DevBox limit.
